- Improper use of hot press
The hot-pressed label is pressed and heated on a hot-press machine through a thermally conductive copper mold. If the imbalance between the copper mold and the product results in high sides and low sides, some stickers are not evenly heated. Therefore, a verticality needs to be adjusted between the copper mold and the sticker.
- The hot pressing temperature is insufficient and the hot pressing time is insufficient
The standard melting temperature of hot melt adhesive is 70-90 degrees, and the hot pressing time is selected according to the characteristics of the product. If the temperature is too high, the hot melt adhesive will evaporate and the amount of adhesive will decrease. As a result, the label cannot stick to the product surface. If the temperature is too low, the hot melt adhesive will not melt, or it will not melt completely. This problem usually manifests itself as the product falls later.
- Use inferior hot melt adhesive
In order to save costs, many sticker manufacturers use inferior hot-melt glue. The reason why most metal stickers drop off is related to inferior glue.
